I understand why those who don't live in the shires don't grasp it but installing Air conditioning in england is a bit like building a swimming pool outside in terms of fundamentally shit, expensive and ultimately pointless exercises

Are mini splits and window/hose units not available? That’s a genuine question. Whenever this is brought up, there’s this impression of central air and ducts and a bulky box in the yard.

These days they even have camping ACs that can run off batteries.
