"Democrats failed you so hard you started voting Republican, but we'll make it so Republicans can never be elected ever again!" strikes me as a strange rallying cry.
edit: I suppose "We'll make Michigan and Wisconsin a single party state like California or New York!" wouldn't be quite as inspiring to them.
