They often forget that the evil European and anglo-saxon whites at some point went through something called 'The Enlightenment', they abolished slavery, ended colonialism and went through various pacifist movements and feminist waves as well. 

A lot of countries outside Europe didn't and have stuck with arranged marriages, holy wars, caste systems or still use slaves to this day.
In most cases resistance has long been stomped out and those things aren't even controversial.

They also forget that the 'social contract' between the government and society in modern nations while broken is still a 2 way street. People pay taxes to share their wealth with society (the strong carry the weak) but they also pay for a functioning government to keep their interests safe in ways you can't on your own. If that breaks down something closer to 90's Russia and current day Somalia forms than the gay communist Wakanda they long for. 

And in ways this is already starting to shift. If universities no longer teach valuable and marketable skills but instead train anti-semitic gender clowns to yell racist all day funding is pulled. If healthcare is no longer about keeping people healthy but giving them a fake penis or a dillation subscription support dries up.
