I don’t understand the reasoning of Rebel Moon having a PG-13 2 hour version when there’s a 3 hour R version coming later. It’s Netflix. They could’ve dropped both. The 2 hour version feels rushed and oddly bloodless. Like it was edited for TV. Suffers from it. You get these badass vignettes that happen and then jump to the next. No time to sit with them. Then it goes into hyper speed and wraps itself up. Lots of reactions to the action beats are cut short to hide impact and gore.
