I figured the anti-covid vaccine stuff would morph into full blown anti vaccine insanity but I didn't expect the end result would be Steve Bannon propping up a lunatic to run in the democratic primary.
Seems like they figured they need another 2016 type contest to win again, if Trump is the nominee. The problem is that Trump is no longer an unknown entity. There is no "what's the worst that can happen" indifference at play, because everyone already saw how that played out for four years. It was pretty bad. Which is why the most effective political coalition in the nation today is the anti-Trump vote, and why our last three elections have made that very clear.
