It's weird though, why would Ackman suddenly attack all those institutions in public. He could just send his lawyers after them instead of over 9000 character tweets. 

Is he thinking about entering politics?

I think it's probably more that his wants of retribution here require humiliation in a very public setting.  Doesn't mean he won't send the lawyers too, but I think this is one of those rare cases where money isn't the play (not that it ever really changes greed, but the man is already a billionaire), and he's in that headspace of near-unchecked anger where the only driving thought process is, "your entire world must burn for going after my children and wife."
