It's kind of strange how her current success is limited to a specific audience (~25 - 45 y/o American women) but she captures that audience nearly 100%.
There seems to be almost no interest in Taylor Swift from men aside from the fact that they are annoyed by the coverage.
Outside of the US, Taylor is not even in the top 10 in most European countries and the press has very little interest in her private life.
Dua Lipa is more popular here. I seldom hear Taylor on the radio when I'm driving, while that Houdini song from Dua is basically on repeat.
I expected that just like other American pop-culture things the Taylor Swift craze would sweep across Europe within weeks or months too and while her marketing people certainly tried it just didn't happen.
