The obsession to having characters look like them is also insane and they all do it.

It's fucking weird, I mean sure make an NPC or quest giver of yourself, that's all fun and games.
But why hire an actor for a main character, do all the mocap and face scans and then 'uglify' it.
Especially when it's so obvious you're doing it considering current graphics technology allows nearly 1:1 accurate face scans like Kojima did for Death Stranding.
