Having people from New York dictate so much of culture seems like a mistake. In fact, it’s proven unsustainable given how many publications have gone under. Normal people just aren’t interested in the perspectives of lunatics living in expensive closets talking about how getting robbed and assaulted is the secret spice of the city.

Was going to make a hacky joke on the old “fascism is when trains run on time” saying. But searching for the quote now feeds tonnes of articles written in 2016 about how Mussolini did not, in fact, have the trains running on time. Cannot recall if Trump said it in a rally or whatever got all the vultures to revisit the saying all at once.

Anyway, fascist NYC is implementing body scanners for the subway because a dude got shot in the head last week. It’s part and parcel of living in the city!
