For shits and giggles I clicked through the first 20 pages of the NSFW thread and only a few links still worked. 

So much rich history has been lost

It kind of feels like walking through a cemetery...

tumblrs, photobucket, "This video has been flagged for verification according to our Trust and Safety update", "Video Removed", TinyPic... all lost to time.
The thing I totally forgot about was all the domains pointing to a single video or picture before SSL and cookie consent was a thing.

We've lost so much of the old internet without knowing. Probably the biggest destruction of records since the Library of Alexandria was burned down.

It's legitimately depressing how much of the internet has been just plain erased. You go looking for an old tumblr blog and some other user is squatting on the domain name for their mood boards. You look back to the earliest entries in your Youtube likes and 80% are removed or privated. You search for a funny Web 1.0 site from back in the day and it's not even on the internet archive. Vast reams of art and culture, gone.

Anyway, boobs are delightful
