If you haven't seen the big "man or bear" debate, congratulations on still having the brain cells that I lost being exposed to it.

The gist is that online women have decided they would rather be trapped in the woods with a bear than a random man.

What's amusing about the whole argument is that it feels very "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" because men perceive it as a rational argument whereas women make it an emotional one. We know rationally it is false that women would chose a bear over a men because when you visit the zoo, women aren't jumping into the Bear enclosure as soon as a man enters the observatory. Instead for women it's more about the emotional aspect "See how dangerous I perceive men when I'd rather choose a bear?" and then get annoyed when men try to get all analytical about it instead of acknowledging that emotion.
