What's amusing about the whole argument is that it feels very "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" because men perceive it as a rational argument whereas women make it an emotional one. We know rationally it is false that women would chose a bear over a men because when you visit the zoo, women aren't jumping into the Bear enclosure as soon as a man enters the observatory. Instead for women it's more about the emotional aspect "See how dangerous I perceive men when I'd rather choose a bear?" and then get annoyed when men try to get all analytical about it instead of acknowledging that emotion.

But then the same people unironically giving their reasons why no, actually, bears are safer than implicitly all men but I didn't actually state all men, so why would you be offended? then pearl clutch about why so many young men are falling into your andrew tate type bitches ain't shit rhetoric.

Because impressionable young men aren't looking at this rationally and hand waving it away as too much internet dipshits, they're seeing it as 'this is why society hates you'
