It betrays the naming but progressives are nothing if not regressive in terms of technological advancement. It’s odd. Like the push against nuclear power came from progressives.

The problem is that nuclear power would fix the climate issue. Abundant cheap clean energy would ruin their anti-capitalist agenda. 
Plus Gazprom and Chinese entities poured a lot of money in the progressive anti-nuclear lobby.

In the end all for naught, because Putin vaporized the Russian energy industry anyway
