Farage dancing on the grave of the Tories.
I'd be surprised if he can get ahead of Labour within 3 weeks though. It would be absolutely bonkers.
To me it seems like Starmer has this in the bag.
Interesting things happening in France too btw.
The left formed a 'popular front' for the upcoming snap elections after some socialists tried to block it.
Macron has branded the left wing coalition as the anti-semites.
After Macron called his snap elections the French right was caught off guard.
Les Républicains are fighting over the question if they should form an alliance with Le Pen against the left. Their leader had announced they would and then party officials revolted. They fired him as party leader but he locked himself in the party headquarters. Now the party is split between a camp that backs Le Pen (including the party leader and deputy leader) and a camp that doesn't.
Zemmour held a press conference with Le Pen's niece, who announced that she would bury the hatchet and support her aunt (without Zemmour knowing).
So Zemmour called her a traitor and now the party is split.
Alain Finkielkraut, one of France's foremost Jewish intellectuals says he might be "obliged" to vote for Le Pen in order "to block antisemitism".
Which is surprising considering one of the founding members of Le Pen's party was a member of the Waffen-SS.
