think of it this way. A former president GW and then protecting former president Trump.  So protecting GW on The Ranch in Texas and he's pretty low-key now not too much going on. Protecting a president Trump even if he wasn't running for office let's say but just in general with his persona and being in New York and going to Florida that takes like a whole other entourage of people

so that because that's the ultimate uightmare for our security agencies is to have a president harmed (don't want to jinx anything) out on a podium giving a speech.
