The Monetization Director at Ubisoft is big mad at the gamer chuds.
He should talk to his CEO. Yves said the other day that Ubisoft does not cater to any specific group.
The main issue and something that these companies don't understand, is the bait and switch. They say we're getting the historically accurate Assassins Creed set in Japan we've always wanted but instead we're getting fan fiction from a bunch of weirdos.
If they would just admit that they're no longer in the hardcore AAAA+ gaming business and instead produce interactive DEI propaganda people would skip and ignore it like most French art and Dustborn. Just put a rainbow sticker on the box, so we know what's what.
Also we're not all "in the same boat". His own ship is sinking but FromSoftware just increased wages by 10%. Space Marine 2 was a big hit. The First Descendant players are looking forward to Ultimate Freya and Dragonball Sparking ZERO is leading the pre-order charts.
Now why would that be monsieur Monetization Direct at Ubisoft.
