It's hilarious to me that the only part of the communist model that China has kept is the dictatorship and authoritarian government.

China is also in a unique position to make it somewhat succesful but it is already falling apart.

It all depends on capitalist dogs buying their cheap shit and sending them knowledge and tech in return. Without the US/EU consumers and innovation they have nothing.
This is also why replicating it in places like Russia has failed because no one wants to buy anything Russian outside of what comes out of the ground.

Well there is also the part that in general the Chinese including their leaders like a somewhat functioning and liveable society for their population.
Unlike in Russia where every day is the hunger games.
