Don't worry. I was sweet on a girl but she a had a bf and I was in the friend zone. I forgot about her but a few months later they broke up and I got in the fuck zone. Yada, Yada, Yada, we got married (8 yrs later a divorce but we're still friends. So back in the friend zone Lol) Just keep working on yourself for now. The other stuff will be easier when you feel better about yourself.

Usually what happens is when you stop looking and are fine with being single and just having fun, that's when somebody drops in your lap.
