eh there's a significant part of the USA population that has adopted oligarchy as their preferred style of governing
In that framework, the Dems being the oligarchy, they will go back to the drawing board not to assess failures but to strengthen forces to extend the oligarchy adaptation. I don't think they yet know how to do that.
It's a failure to think this is red v blue since Trump overtook the red to make a third party viable. I mean you got Tulsi and RFK in there. Plus the power of Musk.
I said this many years ago, but America is an oligarchy restint atop the foundations of a democratic/constitutional republic that practices a largely ceremonial election. They let their blindrs go and democracy accidentally happaned in 2016. In 2020, they made sure that wouldn't happen again, but the eventual backlash happened now.
It is not in that groups' nature to asses failings upon themselves. The viewpoint is biased towards finding failings in the subjugated.
