Makes over 100 grand a year and can't even get their fucking check engine light problem fixed. A perfect example why nobody wants these kind of people in charge. How can they get thigs done for us when they can't get things done for themselves?

That's perhaps the part that surprises me the most. Stuff like expired tags, suspended license etc. can become a real vicious cycle for people who are already poor and have no other way to get to work. So they keep breaking the law to make what little money they can get only to get fined, arrested etc. again. When this happens to someone who makes a 100k per year though they're just an idiot and an asshole.

Its why fines for prostitution have always been counter productive, because they just hook more to pay them off (the 'forced into it through desperation or circumstance' street hooker types, not the dilettante 'this will really piss off daddy' types)
