This was long, long ago. When we were poor kids and they were excited by half-priced appetizers. See back in Bush's economy, you could only eat during a three hour window when food was heavily discounted.

You were such a lucky kid. I grew up in the Carter economy. We were too busy waiting in lines for fuel to go into a restaurant that sold appetizers. Thank heavens Jim Craig and the Gipper were there to save us. 1981 took us from Spam and Tab to eating at Steak and Ale.
