Ran across something interesting looking at old video game wiki's.

Berry was an early transwoman in the video game industry. The Wikipedia noted their regret having sex reassignment surgery and other thoughts about transitioning. They died in '98 so the interview has to be before that.

It feels like I see sex change operations are less and less talked about. Maybe it has become more obvious that this is more like a mutilation than switching genitals as if they were spare parts? It won't function like a real vagina or penis and it is guaranteed to cause pain and problems.
