The "treating as a woman" thing is part of the offense to me. "Treat me as a Black" or "treat me as a Jew" wouldn't be taken anywhere near as well if someone asked you to do it, yet this is supposed to be. It also asserts that I treat women differently from men in some way I should be aware of, it's not like they're going to answer if I ask "how do I treat women?"
