Easy skip. Weird to use it for The Expanse IP as well. Like if you're working on the shitty wizard boy franchise, many of those fans probably wouldn't notice or care if Gen AI is used, whether it's for pre-production or not since the books are mostly averaged out slop. For the more niche sci-fi series of The Expanse, I imagine those readers/show watchers would likely be more sensitive to the news of Gen AI being used to create the game world or scripts

Completely nonsensical assumption. The story and world of Expanse has nothing to do with AI, so why assume the audience would care?

Good people are fans of The Expanse. As one example, me, a good person. For proof of my goodness, I also hate Harry Potter, not just AI.

it's really awesome how square enix learned the hard way not to destroy their own legacy by abandoning everything that made it what it was and taking 5 years between every game so kids grow up saying final what-asy

they don't even name the games that are exactly like final fantasy after it, bravely default and octopath traveler have more brand recognition and consistent vision these days
