Well lets look at it objectively

She replaced princess treatment from general scales 6"4 toxic af buff bilionaire Chad Dinosaur with the traumatized 5"1 drifter Fox McSoy and his foster parent, retarded frog and gay friend. And Fox isn't even the best pilot, Falco is.

The debate about likes keeps coming back because the debate about this forum being an incredibly hostile place even for casual video game opinions keeps coming back.



And while the likes debate has been definitively settled (B-Dubs is never doing it), the debate about what to do about hostility has accomplished absolutely nothing. All as the forum grows increasingly hostile and more and more members who used to post quality threads and posts abandon it.



The likes themselves are secondary to all this. If you fix the hostility and find some other way to actually promote positive, quality interactions, the likes discussion will stop as well.



I imagine people just keep suggesting them because it's something everyone is familiar with since they are a core feature of most discussion forums I'm aware of (including every Era successor/splinter forum I k

Honestly I think there has been always some broad conflation as you call it between trans and crossdressing communities from the crossdressing community itself, like the MTF subreddit (maybe the biggest subreddit for trans women) was recently found out to have a crossdresser mod for years that had to be removed because they were found to be allowing all kinds of crossdressers to post hypersexual content in the community carte blanche. Most older spaces for trans women (forums, irl groups etc) are more designed for crossdressers/sissies etc, and a lot of trans women only spaces both online and IRL have to weed out crossdressers that come to them in bad faith purely because they are horny

It's very confusing to navigate even for me as a trans woman in these spaces so I imagine it's even more confusing from the outside from cis people's perspective, it's very likely why there's so many laws and stereotypes about trans women potentially being predators and perverts, because there's a broad class of cis men (of which there are way way more cis men with a crossdressing fetish than there is self identified trans women) with a fetish who essentially are identical looking to how a trans woman can superficially look

Like many relatives and previous friends of mine don't even talk to me anymore because they think I'm someone like this, the confusion is deep in society

What I'm trying to understand is the silence. What does that mean? I won't infer intentions without a full data set.

You can, and should. Maybe it's not all the mods who love diminishing genocide by banning people who accurately compare israel's actions to nazi germany's, but the ones who don't clearly aren't going to break ranks or quit. I'm sure they'll keep privately voicing concerns, politely and quietly, and delude themselves that they're working to change the system from the inside.

Not by doing anything, though. That might have repercussions for them, or make the rest of the team look bad.

It is actually in the name: they are services. They don't express a vision, they don't act as the vessel for their creator's mindset, they don't try to trigger some emotions or messages or make you think and reflect. They are services which only purpose is to bring money to their publishers. Those publishers are ready to change everything in a GAAS if it is needed to make more money - look at what Fortnite was and how different it is now.



This is the opposite of art.



Single player games may be art, by nature: they are static, what you get when you buy them is what you'll still get 10 years later. They come with a vision and this vision remains mostly untouched once the game is released.



If a publisher wants to provide a service, they must be ready for the service to be treated as such: from a rational profitability point of view. And consumers should too.



You pay for a service expecting, well for the service to be provided. If this service can't be guaranteed, not
