Like there's a modestly popular TV show thread where one user, from season 1, years before I joined, just was shitting on the show constantly and still does in season 4. I don't need to see that guys take on anything if he has that sort of dedication to something he hates. And there's not even the zeitgeist excuse because the thread and show aren't even super popular.

I think one major difference is that at the end of the day we usually just discard Objectively Wrong™ opinions after commenting and/or goofing on them, but conservatives want to have kind of authority figures and talking heads they feel they can always trust in dictating viewpoints. Therefore journalists/commentators/influencers being at the wrong or making mistakes is much more emotional to them.

Many months later Nepenthe posted something about how the "collective nation of Jewish people" needed to take responsibility for the genocide. Then refused to elaborate when this obviously questionable take was questioned.

On here I posted Nepenthe's Twitter where she explicitly called for a genocide of Israelis (and non-Black Americans for that matter) on Oct 7th, 2023 and also said that if Palestinians "wanted" an authoritarian state to rule over them that was their right. (Oddly I continue to be the only one who seems to express major issue with this second tweet. This is why y'all aren't serious.)

PoliEra was aware enough of The Bire that this got to them and eventually someone posted it on Era, with the staff reacting instantly to permabanning the person and shutting down discussion.

I had posted her house since that original time and probably had posted it around this time again. In any case, the staff at Era saw I had posted her house. This led to police and prison abolitionist Nepenthe filing a police report with her local police about The Bire on legal advice from the security guard at her pharmacy.

This was part of the charges against PoliEra too. However there were additional charges from B-Dubs and Hecht looking through their Discord. One person admitted visiting Kiwi Farms to see if there was more information on Nepenthe's genocidal views. Visiting certain websites was considered a severe violation of Era terms of service. Additionally a member had joked that they hoped Nepenthe kept up her insane rhetoric because it'd get the FBI to look into her. B-Dubs considered this the worst thing anyone on Era has ever done because, and I'm not quoting but you know my knack(™) for near-verbatim phrasing, YOU CAN NOT JOKE ABOUT THINGS LIKE THIS IF EVEN ONE PERSON TOOK THAT SERIOUSLY LIVES COULD BE PUT IN DANGER. Never did B-Dubs explain why this logic only ever applied to a single Discord message seen by maybe tens or hundreds of people rather than the stuff posted daily on his forum including by staff members such as Nepenthe.

In any case, B-Dubs led a purge of a bunch of PoliEra posters including the guy who made the OTs and handed it over to mentally deficient and subliterate krazen who has failed to follow the directive to make new threads every so often. They were also holding a permaban over the heads of people to try and take more control over the Discord.

The only thing Nepenthe has ever said about her clear calls for genocide is complaining that she's not allowed to post about the topic anymore. Nobody has ever said anything about the fact that she said multiple times that various ethnicities need to "go back where they belong."

One thing to mention. All this really ignited when a PoliEra user (can’t remember the name) caught a ban because he used the term ‘sexual slavery’ when referring to hostages taken by Hamas. The admin apparently considered that Islamophobic/racist and banned him for it, causing PoliEra to go up in arms. Then Plagarize infamously marched out saying sexual slavery wasn’t happening. People started quoting and linking the UN Report confirming at the time and he did the ‘it’s sexual assault, not sexual slavery’ defense. Working IT for a prison system made him an expert, according to him.

If the UN has accused Hamas of using hostages as sex slaves, I certainly haven't seen any reporting on that. If it's out there, it would be helpful to have that provided, because when I look at Brady's post that's *clearly* a massive accusation and for me it comes out of nowhere. And yes, I know that hostages have been victims of sexual assault, as is depressingly common with prisoners in conflicts like this, but that's not the same thing at all.

And never once backed down or admitted that is a horrific platform to try and defend the rat ass ban they made.

Yeah, because AI-induced smog can only affect people of sub-saharan descent. 

I don't understand the point in (from his perspective) explicitly telling racists what to do to weaken you or cause problems for your community

if someone was like "hahaha look at me I'm generating AI images to destroy black communities" he'd probably turn around and indignantly say they're not accomplishing anything, as opposed to being like "ahhh oh no my heart, I feel the poison seeping in, please cease this behavior"
