Don't get me wrong I don't think they should, I think games are expensive enough. However I can see nintendo with their ideology of never doing big game discounts that they could see value in raising prices of games since they're still playable on the sw2. Where as I don't see any remote logic for the switch 1 consoles going up in price, there's no demand.

it really dismays me seeing that this forum is not full of Trumpers who have been talking about how Tariffs are really going to fuck up prices and economy and this still being fresh in our minds and they already are jumping to blaming Nintendo instead of Trump. This move does not make sense from a Nintendo wanted to do this perspective like some people are saying unless it is something they need to do (like trying to not raise the price of the Switch 2 or at least hold off on raising the price until they get a good base for it). There is no good reason in a regular market for them to do this... this is because the markets have been fucked up by a certain orange turd.

Oh if that's the full context then this outrage is a little much. There's zero chance she even read the full essay on the shirt - and I probably wouldnt expect someone of her caliber and schedule to when it was sold to her by her team as black history in the country. Which is what her tour and album largely is about.

Why is "should we be cancelling Beyonce" even a debate? We don't owe her our money. If they wants our money, she should make a better product so that we want to buy it, such as not celebrating genocide against people who are still vulnerable during her shows. Beyond that, I don't think we're obligated to silence bad press for her. We should be able to acknowledge that she did a problematic thing in public without that being equated with an organized attempt to destroy her career.

At no point was genAI needed. Just say that because of extreme time constraints, the translations will be worked through with your partners after launch as the post-launch localization hotfix. I don't care for them saying how small the impact of these assets were on the gaming experience. Why remain committed to transparency, the most corporate of language, after your mistakes have been caught rather than from the very start. 

I hope people keep making a stink about this and don't let the lack of transparency be normalised.
