t's a non starter if Israel insists on staying in Gaza and not stopping the ethnic cleansing. Like pragmatically speaking why would Hamas even trade for hostages that Israel has when right after the exchange the IDF will just continue the occupation and kidnap droves more Palestinians to recoup the ones they traded. The IDF is literally constantly kidnapping Palestinians and holding them indefinitely without charges while abusing them in detention.

The fact that the west still only thinks Israeli hostages matter and doesn't give a flying fuck about Palestinians hostages is such overt racism it's ridiculous. They just call them "prisoners' and think that makes it ok. They can't even lean on the fact that they treat Palestinians in captivity well either because there are numerous reports of amputations from cuffs and a host of other horrific shit. Hamas is abusing hostages too for sure but again it's about being even in the outrage. The moment you don't see it evenly is the moment you concede that you think Palestinians have lesser value. No hostages should be taken and all hostages should be treated with dignity this goes for Israel and Hamas.

The news is starting to trickle out that Hamas told the Egyptians they cannot agree to the US ceasefire deal because all the hostages are dead.

For them it's not even just a flag anymore, but a sacred symbol of their religion.  It's their crucifix, star of david, star & crescent, and dharma all combined as one, and more of the general public is beginning to intrinsically understand this even when they don't explicitly realize it.  It's a religion full of priests trying to grow their flock through threat of force, always demanding subservience, prostration, and ministrations from followers and non-followers alike.

In context, Zelda is saying this to Link after he doesn’t find Saria at her tree stand.

It’s a double meaning: Link has returned to his childhood home as an adult but all of his friends are still kids and learning that he never really belonged there as he was never a Kokiri but he still has memories of his younger days.

I’ve found the quote hits me hard because it makes me remember my days as a 10 year old boy playing this game with mouth agape.
