My wife stormed into the kitchen this morning

"Oh my fucking god, look what I found"

A hotel booking confirmation on our 16 year old daughter's phone

Valentine's night, king bed, champagne package

The reservation was under her boyfriend's name

"She is 16 and dating a 42 year old guy" my wife was crying

I grabbed the phone and looked at the booking

She was right, it was absolutely disgusting

The room was listed at €289 but the final charge was €341

They buried the city tax and "resort fee" in the checkout page

That is a direct violation of EU directives on consumer pricing transparency

"Don't worry baby, your man's got it" I told her

Filed a complaint with the authorities before breakfast

Nobody is scamming my daughter on my watch

This is how we protect families in Europe
