I'm finding that many of the games I'm playing on PS5 are PS4 games I didn't get around to, or didn't finish. I don't see myself buying a PS6 (or a Switch 2 for that matter). I'm currently mid-upgrade on my PC, but plan to keep updating it like the Ship of Theseus until I can't do it any longer. ![]()

That’s what my PS5 was and I can’t say I regret it. Late 2020 to 2022, there was lots of free time to play it. Got a lot of use out of it. But I think Astrobot is the only “PS5” game I cared for and not enough to buy a console for.
I’ll get a Switch 2 at some point. I’ll build a desktop in Japan if my laptop ever feels lacking. But for my purposes, I cannot picture a future where I get another Sony or Microsoft console. I don’t think I’ve ever used much less seen the Xbox 4. Nor the PS5 Pro that exists for some reason. ![]()

GTA6 delayed too lmao. So price hikes just in time for the people buying for GTA.
6 years into the generation for GTA 6 What is even the point of this gen? ![]()

Elder Scrolls 6 (Skyrim 2) was announced in 2018 and there’s a strong possibility it won’t release until 2027. Maybe it’s not the worst thing if they can learn from Starfield’s failings.
