The difference between you and me is that I've been sounding the alarm against American imperialism for years off and online before it finally came back to bite American allies in the ass. I was able to understand that just because my economy was stable, just because I have access to the benefits of imperial standards of living, didn't mean this was a good thing for other people, that other people's lives mattered. It's not to help speed up workflows because we have data that says that there's a negligible to negative difference in pipelines that use generative AI because you have to go back and fix the shit.

if you use AI for initial brainstorming and concept art, there's nothing to fix, you're going to be iterating on the design as you manually create the final artwork/models anyway, if it generates too many buttons on a character's coat then you solidify it into what you really want when you're finalizing

as a writer you can ask for 50 good medieval fantasy names, or 50 interesting things that might happen aboard a space station given X context, or 50 ways for your characters to get out of a jam and move the story forward when you've written yourself into a corner

Gonna be honest, as far as how I personally feel about a candidate is concerned, that's an incredibly minor flaw. Especially when the "basic question," IIRC, is a gotcha question about some hypothetical that she'll never actually have any substantial control over. This isn't much different from Dukakis being asked a fucked up question about his anti-capital punishment stance and that becoming a whole ass thing because his answer was deemed imperfect.

Do I want her to be more polished? Sure. Is she going to have to reconcile her prison abolitionism with some hard choices down the line? Sure. But I find myself prioritizing polish these days much, much less than I used to back in the day. She's almost certainly about to be a Congresswoman in the not too distant future and she'll be working at a place where a core issue is not the absence of polish.
