you look back through most of history and it's this long steady advancement on what's deemed allowable in media, there's a time where an ankle is scandalous, a time when you can't show a toilet on TV, a time when you can't show lucy and desi sleeping in the same bed, we finally start to become less of prudes and then...just this rapid backslide

yes the minigame is juvenile, silly, embarrassing, but media should be allowed to do that

I remember when a photo album was something you kept in a physical book and it contained pictures of family at events and on holidays and was only shown to people you personally knew and they probably didn't even want to see them.

Now it's mostly photos of your own damn face and there will definitely be a toilet in the background of at least one of the photos and you put it online for as many strangers as possible to see and those strangers intentionally seek them out.

What I'm saying is, the children are not our future, and they should be abolished.

Should be an amazing time as always. I know a lot of the folks running in the event, including a handful of them on the main stage for the first time, and I'll also be helping keep the Twitch chat safe, so I'm pretty excited about it. And I will definitely not spend way too much on merch as usual.

Anyone else find watching speed running games on easy mode (especially for certain games and genres) to be utterly boring?

Respectfully, you are welcome to speedrun any game you want on any settings or category you want. Maybe do that before criticizing what other people choose to do.
