If you see her on the current promotional tour, you'll see that she's more than gained back all of the weight in her face (which would literally be impossible with the actual surgery many imply that she's done).

Yes, it is. This isn't up for debate. If a person has buccal fat removal, which is the surgery she was accused of having, it is literally impossible to get that weight back in the face. It is gone forever. That is why it is a controversial surgery. And if you look at recent video of her promoting the new season, she arguably gained all of the face weight back and more. That is what Graves disease can do. Again, this isn't a debatable topic. You are wrong.

But even putting that aside, you'd still be misogynistic scum for making fun of her for plastic surgery you don't like. Its not your body. Its hers. Worry about you.

Lip filler is not surgery. I never said she didn't have lip filler. I said she didn't have surgery that would have changed the shape of her face, which is the main thing people comment on. The weight fluctuation in her face is due to a disease that she had been open about and there is proof of via the fact that she got the weight back (something that would be impossible if she had surgery).

If you are consuming media in the attempt to keep up with the times, you will inevitably be overwhelmed because- even before the explosion in access to "content" through streaming and social media and the resulting degradation of the monoculture- there was already more media in existence than you could ever experience in a single lifetime. You will never keep up and need to drop the pretense that it's possible to keep up. On the other hand, if you are engaging with media to actually enrich your life, and do not care about trends unless those trends genuinely align with your interests, then you will drop a lot of the stress and worry about this. It truly isn't that serious; experience whatever you want to experience on your own time. Yes, going back to something you've experienced before takes away time from something new that you could experience, but who gives a shit? You were never going to get to it all anyway, and you don't seem to really value much of the stuff you consume anyway because that's all you're doing- consuming.

Hello, first time poster but long time off-and-on reader.  I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about an artist by the name of Blizshadow or his supposed brother TheFurryFelon.

I ask because I commissioned Blizshadow for a picture that was to be a surprise gift for a friend, back in April of this year, and have not heard back from him since May 2nd.  On April 27th he said he could have something done for me to see in 2-5 days, but I had received nothing yet as of the last message on May 2nd.  On May 12th he made a journal post on FA claiming that he had mutiple tooth-aches and that was the reason he was slow on art for now, and that he should be back to it the following Monday.  Monday never came.

From the look of his FA Shouts I'm not the only one on his commission list that's been looking for him since then.  Notes have gone unanswered.

I only paid a small deposit, so I'm not too offended by the turn of events, but I was curious if anyone else had issues with him before or knew anything else about his situation.  If he's simply vanished from existance then I'd just like to know so that I can cross the commission off as a loss and find someone else to commission for it.  If he's simply moved to another site and forgotten to mention it, then I'd like to know where to find him or would apreciate any information anyone might have about how to contact him.

Not in disagreement at all, it's of course all interwoven. There are limits though, and we already see them becoming more clearly. Empirestijl have an end date, fortunately. I just hope something better, something more just will take its place.

The only way something better is going to come along is if people commit themselves to a long-term project to make it so. I don't see the seeds of such an endeavor being borne from a conversation though on how we can reclaim American patriotism from the right. (Hell, I don't know how you get into a conversation about that with an appeal to a "big tent" left; you are begging for muddied politics and self-sabotage.)
