Even the article the OP pastes without quoting uses "author" instead, which is more accurate as all you find about them is the memoir they wrote in their twenties. But it's probably most accurate to say they identify as an influencer based on the blurb on that book:

It's funny reading stories like the above because they talk about the Graham rumors as if they started after Trump won, around 2020, when various conservatives were saying he was gay back into the mid-2000s whenever they were mad at him. Especially when he supported immigration reform/amnesty, Senate decorum or whatever they were mad about.
