Just FYI, this is a pretty weird and kind of insensitive comment to make in this context. There are millions of programmers out there, some are bound to be trans. I'm sure you didn't mean anything negative by it, but trans people don't need onlookers posting judgey comments about their interests, much less in a situation that calls for acceptance and affirmation.

I was in a trans discord or reddit (or twitch? I forget) discussing this exact topic just yesterday, so it's definitely not a "weird" or "judgey" thing to say thanks.

Getting into 'X thing' will make you transition jokes are super common at least in my experience. Anecdotal of course but replace game dev with something like fighting games or vocaloid or whatever and I could easily find plenty of variations of the joke myself (transfem) and my trans friends have made. I could definitely understand not being entirely comfortable with a (presumably, idk anything about Pyro) cis man posting it but personally I don't have much of an issue with it tbh.

No, because they use an entirely different gameplay set than the men. They are not going to massively boost the women to match the men just to reward the 1% of people who use the W mode and want to play against the cheaters and whales in the men's online modes. WNBA centers top out around 6-3, they would be useless even at the same level and badges as the men. Men's point guards are allowed to be made up to 6-7 since a few games ago. There's already a height escalation war in the men's online because of the impact of the gameplay being updated for versatile bigs like Jokic, KAT and Wemby.
