There was a controversy a few years back where he was accused of grifting because he was not able to “catch” notorious Youtube pervert like Onision while promoting a new show in YouTube. 

It should be noted, that the dude spearheading this shit (a drama you tuber) was not clean either and also had a meltdown. So take it with a grain of salt. 

The stuff about the police and the suicide of that other pedo was well known, and the main reason why the show was cancelled.

So frustrating. Still cant update my base version on Xbox Series X. I've re-installed it 6 times now and it refueses to update. Stuck on 1.27. Funny thing is, if I delete the game and play it through the cloud it's the latest version with the "performance" option in the settings. But when I download the game to my console its not there in the options. Tried contacting Ubisoft support and Microsoft on Twitter but no response from either. I despise Microsft so much, will never buy anther console or produt from them for the rest of my life.

Wasn't this supposed to be Sony's next major gaas release? Those are pretty bad numbers, even for a fighting game.

Those are not bad numbers, and it's likely doing a lot better on PS5.

The problem is that it launched with a ton of technical issues, so the odds of the PC numbers going down are pretty high.

I am specifically replying to the topic of the thread it launched to 25k. That is not an amazing number and it is not a terrible number. Hence the word "solid." Fighting games are niche outside of The Big Three and this launched just below Guilty Gear Strive.

The problem will be retention and if the PC version is truly a mess, that's going to kill the numbers for that version.

bitch this game had a 32k player open beta and the full release is at 13k on a Friday afternoon. game is flopping hard and Sony is definitely freaking out since this game is feels like they gave it one of their single-player AAA budgets. I like it too but does reality literally need to be denied for any and everything related to Marvel? Sony is frying CPUs with their 7 layers of overlays and just lost hundreds of thousands of sales (permanently) because of it.

Now I watch this show with all my lived experience and it feels like whoa. They go fucking deep. It's like rewatching old SpongeBob and getting all the references for adults.

Book 2 might be the single greatest season of television ever.

I'd say it was a good way to introduce kids to heavier subjects like genocide, corrupt power structures, and the effects of war. My friends and I were around Toph's age when the show released, and we were able to understand the concepts Avatar was laying out. Showcases an understanding kids are able to process certain subjects when they viewed beyond just toy consumers.

I remember when episode 1 aired I was surprised that the word "sexist" was used by a main character less than five minutes into the first episode.

It stood out to me too. As someone who was exactly Katara's age when that first episode aired and who was bullied for being a feminist, it was probably the fastest I've ever gotten on board with a character.

ATLA aged so well that every single bit of political subtext in it is still based af today.

Hey Arnold taught me how to be a good person.

Kidding mostly, but also I'm actually really grateful that show existed. I remember being so moved by the Mr Huynh daughter episode. They certainly didn't shy away from mature topics. I don't really know what kids cartoons are like nowadays, but I hope they have something like Hey Arnold or even Rocket Power or similar.

Not to put my age out there but I was Aang's age when the show was ongoing and I remember hating it for being boring. It was only coming back to it in my early/mid teens that I realised how great it was.

I was a similar age and yeah I was not in love with it at the time. I'd catch random episodes and thought it was another lame anime wannabe cartoon. It wasn't until I was in college I sat down and watched all of it and loved it.
