So now the thread is basically a lot of people finding any example of claude or codex usage in a project and getting it removed from the OP. This led to the Zelda n64 decomps getting called vibe coded slop and being removed from the op with any discussion banned. A developer of those projects was made aware and made an account to yell at them

To have literal thousands of hours of work in my freetime on both SoH and 2Ship over 5 years, along with dozens of other passionate devs volunteering their free time, reduced to "vibecoded slop" after a PR gets merged in 2026 co-authored by claude or me mentioning chatGPT in one commit 2 years ago is just such a hilarious take, it actually makes me laugh out loud.

You guys keep your pitchforks nice and high, to believe that any single OSS project that exists can effectively prevent any incoming PR from using AI (meaning anything from inline code complete, to discussing with ChatGPT, to full blown vibe coding) is just ignorance or stupidity.

I'll continue to be anti vibecoded slop, and I'll continue to maintain my project (2Ship) that thousands of people use and love, and you can continue to maintain your "list" that will slowly get smaller over time as you realize anything that has more than one contributor is effectively impossible to police.
