People held their noses and voted for the 'good' transphobes and where are they? Trans people are only one of the groups that have seen their rights attacked and stripped away. Retirees peacefully protesting fascistic government moves are being arrested. The party's polling has gone completely off a cliff and the far right party has seen it's support *swell*.

And trans people... well, they're facing laws discriminating them on a level that the federal government here wishes it could pass. Now is that what Labour were promising years before the election? Ah... no. I was raising the alarm bells years before because I was pretty sure I had a good read on the type of politician Starmer is, and in Newsome I see the same exact breed of 'no value or group I won't throw under the bus if that means I win'.

Newsome is not the nominee. I do not want him to be the nominee, because I think we'd be as fucked with him as the UK is with Starmer. So, until he is the nominee, I am not going to be shamed into holding my tongue. As it stands? I'm not going to vote for that fucking guy.
