from what I have heard, he used cyrillic characters, but didn't actually write in russian, he used those characters as stand-ins for english letters so it's still in english but you have to know which characters to substitute

Thank you, that's something that's awful about that whole "all mass shooters are white cishet males" meme people like Jeff push. What kind of message are we sending to a gay kid or a Black kid to tell them that just because of the color of their skin or who they find attractive they can't gun down a bunch of innocents in a public space? I am genuinely shocked that I haven't seen anyone seize on the idea yet that this person can't really be trans, because if they were they would be a good ally and know that adding to the narrative of trans shooters is harmful to the community, and so they would do everything in their power to appear like a normal white male, in order to aid their trans sisters and brothers
