Raging because you're uninformed and others told you to be outraged is a bad thing, being the opposite of that is a good thing.

If someone claims something is happening the burden is on them to prove it is indeed happening, not to simply browbeat everyone as if they have a duty to believe whatever anyone claims.

Guys is it pretentious to be selling your new video game at an affordable price?

From Team Cherry itself, of course not.

But there is a case about their fans annoying others because perceived slights against big publishers (when TC themselves seem being clueless about it).

Honestly do not care about big publishers getting slights cause alot of them are selling 70 plus DLC and microtransactions. Besides you got games like UFO 50 out that is selling 50 games for like what 25 dollars.

My assumption would be that's most likely prior law with "AI" added into it.

You're attacking someone for seeking proof of a claim and essentially demanding they be too outraged to find out if something is true or not.

I have zero qualms about this "opposite of ResetEra" being one of the best aspects of this place.

an interesting side effect I see of this is that in order to comply with making characters "appear" not to be younger than 18, the breast solution is to give them all absolutely enormous honking gazongas, thicc thighs and a huge ass

Right, you're not allowed to eliminate context from what someone says and then attack them for something they didn't say. Uncle was commenting on the fearmongering propaganda about Project 2025 not literally anything you want to bring up. You introduced a non-sequitur and then proceeded to attack him while demanding he be outraged about something you brought up until he dropped the original topic.

We were promised something, we're told it's 50% complete, so bringing up something unrelated to it is not speaking to the failure of those promises.

unfortunately(?) the first amendment doesn't protect obscenity, "appealing to the prurient interest" among other things, which can be interpreted in a lot of ways, and is the vector through which 1A will see most of its attacks in the coming years

For god sake Benji, you know at this point this is gaslighting.

Uncle could have said, I’m talking about Project 2025 not Trump in general. But he needed to mention how the regular doesn’t care and crypto is doing good. He gets it, you get it. I get it, that’s why I decided to stop and not even pretend he has point with “non sequitor, Superman”.

And no, I don’t want him to be outraged like me, just expressed how weird is the notion of “everything is going all right and not as bad”.

No, what you're doing is gaslighting, you're attempting to tell us what somebody else said and meant is not what they said or meant.

Uncle brought up crypto because it's listed on that tracker. He was speaking to the idea that everything on it was inherently bad, inherently anti-American, inherently unpopular, etc. Same as the gender stuff.

If we're supposed to be fearing that this terrible thing is happening, something which is listed out and a "plan", then again the burden is on the person claiming that it's all part of the plan.

I should also be clear that I am always at least half-shitposting from a half-uninformed perspective and I was serious about wanting to know what parts of what has passed are drastically negatively affecting the lives of the average citizen

when someone who did not follow due process to come into this country is taken by ICE, that negatively affects that person, as well as whoever was benefiting from them being here because they could pay them a pittance under the table. but it could be argued that this positively affects the taxpayer, who did not expect their taxes to go toward providing services or care toward those who are not here legitimately, and could positively affect generations down the line, if the US wants to rein in some of the ways its relative wealth and infrastructure is being taken advantage of by others

the gutting of USAID negatively affects lots of people who were benefitting from it abroad, but again, perhaps we're in a situation now where such funds would be better suited staying within the US to shore up some of its own issues

I don't trust Trump to steward any reclaimed funding in positive ways (if it's even under his purview), but he also won't be in power forever

in other words those are aspects of project 2025 which can be argued to have both positive and negative sides, but in particular do not seem to have resulted in drastically reduced quality of life for the average US citizen

and I brought up crypto as a random example of something in project 2025 which I didn't expect boredfrom to even know about,  because he hasn't looked into it, because he simply assumed all of it is bad like any era person. I don't have any crypto or know hardly anything about it, it doesn't benefit me at all, it is just an example

most people agree with all the rolling back of language like "birthing persons" from official documentation

One of the first things I mention is “don’t care about Project 2025.”

But you already read it Benji. He asked me to “don’t be vague”. relatable and grounded in the real world while keeping some of the details which make her so iconic

Whatever is stuff from project 2025, my point is that a lot of people are feeling the reduced quality of life. We could have ended the discussion with the clarification of “talking about stuff said in Project 2025, not Trump in general”. As, surprise, I also thought Project 2025 was pure BS confined in the realm of propaganda than a real plan. That’s why I never bothered to look into it. (Thanks Benji).
