While there was some "culture war" stuff about Concord with its god-awful character designs and presentation, I've seen none of that with Highguard. People called it "Concord 2" because everybody expected it to bomb due to market saturation and the lack of a compelling hook or strong identity, not for DEI reasons.

The fact that they recognised there was a potential for danger and guns were removed from the house, and then they were given BACK by police after the owner petitioned should be looked at. Why were the guns not in a safe, and if they were why were they given access? Police failure and irresponsible gun ownership should be the talk of the day, and maybe the effects of whatever drug cocktail this person was on (or what they weren't on, who knows).

I think the primary issue with the “correct gendering” in reporting, as others have said, is when papers describe an active male shooter as a “woman in a dress”, bad things can happen.
Thankfully this guy offed himself hy the time any paper wrote anything, but the misdirection (intended or no) is there. The other issue is attributing crimes like this to women generally. “Wow, women almost do this! How interesting!” Yeah, very interesting. 1 user liked this post: filler

I've seen some talk that the characters are bland but NOTHING about pronouns (game probably doesn't feature them) or race I was even waiting for it, waiting for some redpilled guy to be like AND OF COURSE THE MAIN FACE OF THE GAME IS BLACKK! |
