I have been trying to make sense of it all but Britt reported the hotel for fraud. Got charged for almost 3000 dollar even though she thought she had till Saturday. Her bank account is blocked because of the fraud report. 

She needs a additional 1800 dollar before Saturday. 

She's in the red state and a hotel since August 26. In the last two weeks she had to pay 5000 dollar to that  hotel. If everything she is saying is true she probably spend around 10.000 dollar on hotel nights.

my closest guess to the situation she is trying to claim is that since she was paying with debit the hotel charged up front for incidentals based on the length of the stay. all hotels do this for debit cause you can't do pending charges on those cards. 

the "fraud" bit is probably her claiming no one told her, no way that actually happened. no way any of this happened probably and i'm the stupid one.

No, it doesn't make any sense.  She paid the hotel $3500 two days ago.  She must have issued a chargeback after paying this?  Or did she issue the chargeback, then collect the money anyway and lie about paying for the hotel?

I thought she eventually came to understand this, which is why she was raising that $3,500.  Oh fuck me I don't give a shit.

I think what happened was, despite having already paid what was owed, there were additional authorizations and duplications that were caveats for an extended stay, which pushed the accounts to those negative balances, and after she saw the negative balances, she issued the chargebacks.   The authorizations stacked instead of cleared, and it went into overdraw. I dont understand why she didn't know this would happen ahead of time if several days ago she described that this is what they were doing?  Why am I devoting anymore energy to thinking about this

What I don't understand is, she is issuing a chargeback for 'fraud', which routine holds from hotels are obviously not...but then is continuing to stay at the same hotel she is claiming fraud?  I think the next chapter in this saga is Brit getting blacklisted from this hotel, and possibly others that share blacklist data.  This could get juicy.  Guys, this could get very juicy.
