All Western democracies have shown their support to Israel, and those with Palestine are countries that are mostly dictatorships.

It's time to shift the thread to the true victims. Trans folks.
Dude got a one month ban
Cruel Era Admins don't care about (hypothetical) Transgenocide in Palestine
Edit: Ohhhh, no wonder he got banned. He got sucked into a 'discussion' with Excel:
Excel, you dumbfuck, Israel might suck, but if Hamas took full control and Palestine got independence you know what will happen to you and your fellow trans-sisters?
You won't be working in a grocery store anymore. You'll be dead within the first week.
Edit 2: Another little gem later in that thread:

You made a very gross, ignorant and I would argue racist post and you don't get to act as if it wasn't and walk away. There is a reason people were mad at you.
Do you think the country of Israel that had used gay people and queer people for their oppression and missions against Palestine is at any way better? They still oppress and discriminate LGBTQ+ people. Nah fuck that, you don't get to say this and walk away.
That's right belairjeff. You're not walking away. How dare you! You're going to sit at your computer and read every reply!
These morons make me laugh so much. A quick look at Wikipedia would tell Richter about the current status of LGBT rights in Israel, instead of lying out of his ass to make a point:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_in_Israel
Wikipedia wrote:Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) rights in Israel are considered the most developed in the Middle East.[2] Although same-sex sexual activity was legalized in 1988, the former law against sodomy had not been enforced since a court decision in 1963. Israel became the first country in Asia to recognize unregistered cohabitation between same-sex couples, making it the first country in Asia to recognize same-sex unions in any capacity
Era also shows how utterly clueless and confused western leftists really are. Israel does a lot wrong, but Palestine, under Hamas and Hezbollah, currently being passionately defended by Excel-sheets and other dumbasses on Era, would butcher LGBTQ people if they ever took over the entire country.

War brings out the absolute worst in people, and if people expect every individual from an oppressed groups to behave in the upmost moral way against their oppressor then they need to look at history a bit more.
“Rape is not justificable but let me justify mass rape.”

All this wishy washy hand wringing about how rape is actually a normal way to fight oppression is really fucked up.
Far be it from me to defend these lunatics who hold positions exactly opposite mine, but their point (which they've communicated poorly) is just a simple truth: Every cause will have bad actors under its banner. If the presence of terrible actors under a cause means the cause is bad, then every cause must be bad. Since that's clearly not the case, it must needs be that there are more factors involved as to whether a cause is good or bad besides "some people under its banner are raping and murdering." These RE's aren't defending the rapists and murderers, they're defending the cause under which these rapists and murderers are acting.
Of course, that nuance suddenly disappears as they then resort to "but the opposing cause has had rapists and murderers for decades, so they must be the bad guys!" But just because they're inconsistent brainwormed lunatics doesn't mean their first point is wrong. It doesn't matter who's right; it only matters what's right.

I can see the logic in that but looking at how organized this killing and raping etc. was it'd basically start to question what cause these attacks were really for. No one actually believes that the Hamas can win here and everyone knows that this will only make things worse for every Palestinian living there.
The violence is so cruel, so indiscriminate and pointless that I basically find it hard to connect it to any "free Palestine" cause.
I get why RE and other online leftists are interested to still tie it to the "Free Palestine" cause to find some justification but I just can't agree with it.
By the way, that Hasan subreddit is really ten times worse than RE regarding this conflict. Almost wish that Hasan dude had been attending the music festival that got attacked just to see how they'd spin it
Norwegians though. What? Why?
Hasan is the most insane orbiter to spinoff from Destiny's community. Watching him and his community is a good lesson in what not to believe at this point.

Some real, "are we (Hamas supporters) the bad guys" energy from this post.
As a native French speaker and having lived in Canada during my childhood, I take issue with that REE poster about Canada and language/culture. He has an outdated view of things. The self-pity, victimhood thing is very familiar though and it makes those people root for the underdog and whoever is against the perceived anglosphere. The same thing happen with the short Hezbollah-Israel war 15 years ago or so.
Israel does suck, and the plight of the Palestinians is a tragedy, but Hamas is just a proxy in this and this short-term blitz through Israel will end in just more misery for the Palestinians in the end. If I were living in Gaza, I'd be very concerned about my family and my home. It's going to be really bad. I think it will also be harder for the Palestinians in the West Bank and Israeli Arabs: it's not like Israel was improving on that front anyway. It's hard to see a light at the end of this tunnel.
P.S. I still have friends in Canada who don't speak English at all. Not the best for career opportunities, but they're still doing fine. lol
