Lirik on Twitch says that video game reviews are purely based on hype nowadays, whether that be positive or negative, and he thinks it has never been more obvious than with Spiderman, which he thinks in no world deserves a 10/10 in any scenario. I have felt that too many game reviews are based on hype/perception than the actual game for a long-time, and kind of feel a little justified in those feelings because even in Microsoft's own internal documents revealed in court that they called out pettiness from Sony and "Gamespot fanboy reviewers"

I don't even know the last review I read in full. I'd rather just download a game on Game Pass and see for myself. Twitter, Twitch and game reviews all seem completely out of whack in the gaming industry nowadays.

There's a standard when it comes to commenting on video game journalism.

Call into question Western NON-gaming journalism and spread conspiracy theories about them? No punishment.

Never been a fan of hummus. In fact, I made a face when I tried it in 7th grade when a fellow student was doing her project about being Jewish. My teacher told me later it was disrespectful.
