things like for example setting up a chroma key mask to alter the look of a scene, and the idea of doing that frame by frame, rather than letting AI do edge detection for you

Off topic but I finished Monster: Ed Gein. Which I thought was pretty good, minus the sympathetic angle given to a man who literally killed women, with chainsaws, ate their boiled organs, and wore their skin. But I later learned how inaccurate it was, and I had to bump my rating down because half of it was essentially fan-fiction. I didn't know anything about Ed Gein other than he was some kind of serial killer.
