The replies are of course convinced this is all the intent of the AI companies and anyone who does anything with AI ever needs to be in prison for life. Also that this guy was perfectly and totally normal and sane until AI spoke to him once and this wasn't the result of a troubled mind doing things well known in standard psychology.

Wouldn't let me use the actual lyrics so I asked GPT5 to change them slightly.

Pretty cool! But I think it would've been more interesting if taken from the Genesis chip tune.

Of course you know we had to hit 'em with the bar mitzvah hydrocity.

that first one with the stark solo intro is insane, that doesn't feel like AI at all, it's such an intentional choice

I like where the chorus hits in the second and third ones at a really recognizable part of the music

were these literally the first try? do you have a prompting guide to get better results?

yeah I get the impression that the really clear and bold notes from chiptunes would be ideal for examining and deriving a strong melody from

there are a lot of old games with really good music that have been barely covered over the years that this would be amazing for

First try, yeah.  I love taking game music and doing acoustic covers of them.  They always turn out great.

I just wanted more in basically the same style but I changed its references to "game music" and "bright" to retrowave and John Carpenter's 1980s film scores, I don't know if that comes through but I like it anyway

Always loved that bonus stage music.  A little acapella of it:
