On the increasingly incoherent thing, I was looking back through the ‘phases’ yesterday. 1-3 all built to an Avengers movie (or two) and had a vague arc to them. But then look at Phase 4:

Black Widow
Shang-Chi
Eternals
Spider-Man: No Way Home
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Thor: Love and Thunder
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

What happened to the ability to weave characters and themes across movies into a finale? That’s just seven unrelated movies ending with a mid sequel that doesn’t tie up anything. And the two led by new characters haven’t been seen for half a decade.

Phase 5 is similarly a list of unrelated movies that they’re topping off with we have The Avengers at home Thunderbolts
