She said Hi and my first reply was the singles community felt too vintage Nokia for me. No gifs, no pictures. How about we move it to whatsapp? She agreed. She bombarded me with questions to make it more fun I started a pictionary. She had to guess from my travel photos that my brother lives in Canada and then she send me pics so I could guess where she lived. After a bit of fun she hit me with a "how was your day" so I'm letting it simmer for now and get back to her with a picture or video of my day tommorow. But in general I like this one for GF material. The interest she's shown tells me that one of the regulars I met or the organizer lady did me a solid.

Her opener was the last thing I laughed at (schadenfreude of people falling on ice) and I asked what she enjoyed. Of course it was her kid making a mess at dinner or something. Her profile was all about wanting an honest man and monogamy and all that. So I replied to the kid story: "To be honest kids are fine but I'm not applying to be a stepdad " she said: "I understand". So I said: "In that case how about I steal Rapunzel for a movie night" and she's interested so I've asked her when she's available.

Finally there is still 36f with scheduling issues. I'm going to try one more time on Sunday to see if we can plan something for next week.

Some others too, now traveling or doing winter sports say they want to date when they return. In my experience those seldom stick around and just find new matches or lose interest when they're back.

33f - opened the chat to ask if I was interested in a beachwalk + coffee but she couldn't do today or tomorrow because she has to work I've proposed Tuesday evening

If 39f has no mental space for anything but her kid it's the same as the latina and best to let it go. 
But the interest is there, frustation even, same with 35f who is very pushy. 

Overall I'm much calmer ever since I figured out what had frozen me and I realized why that is. Now that there is a clear medical cause and explanation there is no risk of a repeat. That messed with my head, what if I got stuck again.

Interesting date with 36f today. She opened up about a great many things. Also in her head a lot, fun to experience that on a date from the other side for a change.

She is another one of those girls that "knows" me through the grapevine already and simply admitted it herself. She was like yeah I know where your office is and you don't like cheese. Those were just data points she already had in her head. The first one to confront me about my politics as we stepped on the beach. 

It's a sea change though, to hear chicks say the things out loud about men they find unattractive / unappealing. Yes, the character and emotional connection were the most important but... "I don't want a guy touching me that gives me the ick". It's weird to not be "that" guy but the guy that is free to pull her in with a smug grin. 

There is pros and cons to this chick but I'm open to seeing her again for drinks and more. Will probably ping tommorow before the gym to see where she stands.
She was a little tired from a performance and had to teach dancing again tonight so just a walk today.

It was a good date though, she would've cut it off at the car or as soon as she got home if it wasn't. Her health issues were severe. She just got a test back yesterday that she had a hernia in her back and her foot had only just recovered. Her divorce was mostly related to her health, also why she shares the kids 50/50 and works just 3 days. Maybe she realized she needed more help in the house and less fancy dinners and city trips. 

Anyway she gave me a quick and clear answer. It was a fun night and I found a fantastic bar for future dates. She really liked it.

Already got a message from the chick for the wine date sunday to confirm the time/location. She is more curvy with that comes bigger tits and she's excited about it asking 4 days in advance. The girl from sunday also hasn't pulled the plug yet I've been in touch with her for about 3 or 4 weeks in total now.

Last january I had 1 like on 3 apps. Now I have ~10 likes a week and if sunday goes ahead that's the 4th date this year and if the girl from sunday wants to meet again that's the 5th.
If I need a date I can simply boost the profile. I had 3, now I'm down to 2, so I've matched with another one to keep it at 3. That seems to be the right number to keep it manageable.

35f wanted to move from 15:30 to 17:00 but that doesn't work for me, so I've suggested 16:00. 

If these don't work out I'll probably pivot to something more casual first. The most recent ones are mostly a mismatch of expectations. I hope we click, they hope to find a new husband or a new father for the kids. They need that "my ex wife was a bitch, can't believe she took the house, co-parenting is a pain in the ass" drama to bond for a serious relationship.

Well I met 2 strange NPCs on this quest. I was doing my usual walk when 2 girls asked if I could buy them booze. Turns out they were 15.

I told them "for shur". I asked them if they actually had any drinks before and sure enough the whole list came up. Bacardi, all sorts of wine. At first they were happy I wanted to buy it for them but after a short talk they figured it maybe wasn't such a good idea to get drunk on the street on a friday night after all. I left them with some champagne tips.

It made me realize I'm still not as "loose" as I used to be, I need to go out more, drink more, party more. 
I'm still too stiff and serious. A little less than last year but not quite there yet.

So we will avoid dating to marry for now and will try to get more fun going.
Sure enough shortly after I updated my bio, 33f suddenly came back to chat about safari adventures.

What I did wrong with 34f was obvious. Should've kept it at the loungebar and not taken her on a walk after. It changed the dynamic and energy especially on a cold foggy night.
The 9/10 experience was dragged down by a 5/10 ending. I should've listened to my gut feeling, which said, don't walk the boulevard, take the shortcut back.

Next date the "secret romantic spot"(if necessary) is not the beach lookout but behind the pillar of the mermaid statue next to the loungebar that you miss if you enter from the front.
It's romantic in a Lala land sort of way. That's the tip I got anyway, keep the elaborate movie script for the marriage proposal and stick to Disney and Lala land.
