Nikke has a consistently good story, at certain points really good. If your stance is "I don't care what any of you say or think because you're just playing for the big asses" that's all good but then what's the point of having a conversation.

Theres really no point comparing Nikke to SB anyway, we don't even know who's working on either game. Could be crossover, could be totally separate teams.

Gacha players are often very open about not actually giving a shit about the stories in most of them and how they just skip all the campaign scenes. People don't tend to do that playing Nikke because the story is enjoyable.

NIKKE has a good story tho. Hell, The Overzone story was phenomenal.

Since you pretty much made up your mind of never touching the game here is a short review of the game. He pretty much sum up the story and lore and how the games plays.

The game is clearly designed, and marketed, around the sex appeal of the protagonist as its primary selling point. This is simply what the game is - a game for people to stare at a big jiggly butt and fight monsters. You can't divorce it from that, and there's no chance in hell a studio that abuses the shit out of their female employees and makes fun of people for being feminists is secretly telling a subversive feminist narrative.

Activision Blizzard constantly touted as being respecters of women by censoring depictions of their female characters in WoW among other things and yet look what happened there. I think the devs of Stellar Blade just likes hot girls.

Pretty wild for a very high budget AAA release to not be attracting at least some decent amount of sales from people who're just curious and aren't too plugged into the Internet Discourse, though.
