I've never seen politicians move that fast to deliver support to a people who were unambiguously the victims of an invasive campaign of terror, so it naturally begged the question: are you going to deliver aid (well really, owed money) to places like the Congo, or Haiti, or Afghanistan? Are you going to do, like, anything helpful for Indigenous people?

Of course not. Because these groups' autonomy depends upon opposing the West, and we can't have that.

At best, liberalism can be said that all it wants to do is bring minorities into the fold of neoliberal capitalism, because the problems it diagnoses is that non-white folks, women, and queer folks just simply aren't allowed full participation in systems of oppression like straight white men are. However, liberals believe these systems of Western imperialistic hegemony are good and just in and of themselves, so they don't actually promise true freedom and autonomy. Your ability to thrive as a minority under liberalism comes with an asterisk if it butts up against Western order. Hence the contradictions that just keep occurring.

So of course Ukraine got a fuckload of support; it is in the West's interests to oppose Russian expansion. However, fuck the Palestinians. Israel is the last major bastion of settler colonialism in the region and we will be damned if some fucking dead kids get in the way of that.

So I don't trust liberal leaders as far as I can throw them because I am fully aware of my expendability as a Black person whose condition is the way it is primarily because of centuries of continued Western pilfering of my home continent. I built a gaming desktop for myself (hate gaming laptops but it's a story for another thread) back in march 2022. It wasn't the best setup. I mean it was more of a panic buy for me since my ex wanted me to save for marriage (that's also a story for another thread lol) I was thinking about i5 12400F, RTX 3070, 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD but ended up buying 5600X, RTX 3060, 16GB RAM and 500GB SSD (later upgraded to 1TB) I was happy with my setup but after some research I've seen that 3060 Ti was much better value meanwhile not necessarily more expensive and after some months GPU shortage problem ended so the GPUs became cheaper. When I felt the both, I got the FOMO. 6 months later, FOMO nearly got me and I was thinking about upgrading my CPU to 5700X and my GPU to 4080. But I thought about the games I am playing so I knew that they are not needed. I've played some great games on it in 2K and high frame rates. It started fun at first but I notice that I start to get bored with long games. The Wolf Among Us, Doom (2016), Destroy All Humans and Disco Elysium were great but I couldn't play Cyberpunk and Death Stranding for more than 10 hours. Got bored quickly. The only exception is BG3 because the game is extraordinarily good. When I gave second chances to Cyberpunk and Death Stranding on PS5, I loved both. And now I am sure that PC gaming isn't fun for me anymore. I love playing while sitting on comfortable sofa and a good beverage. OLED TV is also huge game changer too. Now I have Game Pass subscription and there are great games that I'd love to play on it like Persona 3 Reload, Dead Space, Cocoon and Jusant but I'll probably buy them for PS5 since I am not enjoying from PC gaming anymore. The only exceptions are now strategy games and Football Manager for me. Maybe some FPS titles but that's it. The only thing that can make me return to PC gaming is probably exclusive content. But not many devs are making PC exclusives now. Gaming changed a lot since 2002. Just wanted to share my thoughts. Thanks.
